Our Story

The Start
Gremlinades began with a simple idea: to create a better-tasting, more palatable lemonade. Coming from a family of lemonade enthusiasts, we were familiar with the common complaints about lemonade and citrus drinks. Whether it was too sweet, not sweet enough, too tart, too sour, or watered down, the common thread was that the lemonade lacked balance. This is where our journey started. So, based on the concept of balance, we began developing a drink. We set three simple rules for the process: not too sweet, not too tart, and not too sour. After some trial and error, we created "Citrus Gumbo," a drink that was just sweet enough, just sour enough, and had the right amount of tartness. It was in the "Goldilocks" zone, and that's how Gremlinades was born.

Our initial task was to craft exceptional flavor profiles, so we opted for a blend of hybrid citrus and traditional citrus fruits. The resulting combinations yielded distinct, intricate, and layered beverages.

BRANDING STRATEGY
Our beverage is one-of-a-kind, so we needed an extraordinary branding strategy. We aim to appeal to multiple generations with our brand, so we decided to use an 80s-style character branding model. This approach is appealing to both the young and old, as it is fun and nostalgic.

THE GOAL
From our one of a kind flavor profiles to our unique branding GREMLINADE was born. Our ultimate aim is for gremlinades to be the default lemonade brand. When someone asks for lemonade everyone will know they mean GREMLINADE. "Its not lemonade, its GREMLINADE".
